Toddlers are the children who are in between age group of one to six, this is age when children require maximum nutrition as overall growth takes place during this time itself. However, making them eat is a task in itself as they are very selective about what kind of food they want to eat. Include Grains in Diet

Having grains in your child’s diet is necessary as they are the rich source of proteins and amino acids. The various sources of grain include wheat bread, brown bread, rice and peanut butter. Proteins are essential for building nerves, muscles and tissues in the body. They are also vital for brain development. Grains should be given at least three servings a day.

Love Milk

Children mostly love to drink milk. Milk is a complete diet as it contains all the essential nutrients that are required for overall development.  It has calcium, potassium and vitamin D. All these nutrients are recommended for bone and muscle development of the child. Toddler should be given at least 2 cups of milk in a day.

Vitamins are important for growth of the baby. Vitamin B allows smooth metabolism, improving immune system and bone development. Vitamin B is present in meat, nuts, legumes, seeds, nuts and poultry.
